I made sure no updates were needed and I even updated Kodi to see if that would fix it. Once in a blue moon, it will actually work. Then when I manually click on SS, it says nothing found. Subscene is my default one but it seems to skip over it and directly try OS which gives me the invalid message. However, I double checked to make sure I'm good. Other times, it says that my password for OpenSubtitles is invalid. Now, when I click to download, 9 times out of 10, it will say that No subtitle can be found. As per Kodi v13 'Gotham', subtitles support is now built into Kodi. Select the languages you want to get when searching for subtitles. You will also see the other subtitles settings. You can select separate subtitle services for movies and TV shows. I use the menu while the video is playing to download using Subscene or Opensubtitles but a few months ago, it started giving me issues. From Kodis home screen, go to Settings -> Player settings -> Language. I like to download Subtitles for my movies on Kodi and it used to work really well.
